This graphical update will be rolled out every six weeks starting September 8, so the visual improvements will happen over time as opposed to all at once. Behaviour is hoping to "improve the immersion tenfold" with the graphical update by making the environments "as realistic as a scary, disturbing nightmare." This will be accomplished by improving the lighting, effects, modeling, textures, and animations, as well as expanding maps to include more items.
